Direct Instruction Implementation/
Strategies, procedures and forms developed by Haddox and others
Starting in 1968 and ending in June, 1995 the U. S. Department of Education funded the Direct Instruction Model of Follow Through Project (based at the University of Oregon). The original focus was research and development. During the 60s through the early 80s, exemplary instruction practices were implemented by thousands of teachers for the benefit of their students. During the later phase of the project the focus of Follow Through was on dissemination. Included now on this site are strategies, procedures and forms created for the Model teachers, administrators, and others related to Direct Instruction sites. Theses files can be copied directly from this site.
